Hastelloy X Plate (also known as Hast X Plate and Alloy X Plate) is made of a nickel-based superalloy known for its remarkable heat, corrosion, and oxidation resistance. Because of its superior high-temperature strength and fabrication abilities, Hastelloy X Sheet is the go-to metal for highly combustive applications and components including industrial furnaces and flame holders, chemical processing, and gas turbine engineering. While primarily based in high temperature nickel, Hastelloy X chemical composition also includes high amounts of chromium, molybdenum and iron. Standard specifications include AMS 5536, UNS N06002 and more.

Hastelloy X Sheet, which is solid solution strengthened, possesses exceptional strength at elevated temperatures. Hastelloy X Coil has good high temperature and stress rupture properties above 1450°F and can be used for applications up to 2200°F. In addition, Hastelloy X Clad Plate contains high levels of nickel and molybdenum providing good levels of corrosion resistance similar to high nickel alloys more customarily used in corrosion applications.
