Duplex stainless steel 904L plate is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in various environments such as seawater and acidic solutions. This 904L stainless steel plate has a minimum tensile strength of 70 ksi and a yield strength of 25 ksi. It has a maximum hardness of 150 HB and elongation of 35%. The plate has low carbon content, usually less than 0.02%; this helps to prevent sensitization during welding or exposure to high-temperature environments.

 

Duplex steel 904L plate sheet Applications:

1. Chemical processing industry: The plate is used for production equipment such as reactors, tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems. The high corrosion resistance of this plate makes it suitable for processing highly acidic solutions.
