ASTM A213 TP316L Seamless Tube is made up of a chromium nickel molybdenum austenitic stainless steel. The composition 316L Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipe has chromium in 16%, nickel in 10% and molybdenum in 2-3% with carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorous and sulfur. The SS 316L Round Pipe molybdenum content provides the pipes with extra corrosion resistance especially to chloride ion rich environments. The Stainless Steel 316L Seamless Pipe is made through a cold rolling process and is dimensionally accurate than the SS 316L Welded Pipe which is made through a welding process. The welding process can be either electric resistance weld or electric fusion weld.

The ASTM A213 TP316L Seamless Tube is of a standard A312 which is intended for austenitic stainless steel pipes that are welded or seamless applicable to high temperature services.
