UNS S32550 1.4507 is a highly superduplex solid solution trengthened alloy, it contains both austenitic and ferritic crystal structures, which provides high strength and wear resistance while offering superior corrosion resistance compared to 316 stainless steel. UNS S32550 Duplex Steel Plate offers superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion fatigue. It's super because it is more alloyed than ordinary stainless steels and has superior corrosion resistance.
