Hastelloy C-2000 UNS N06200, the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy with excellent resistance to uniform corrosion in oxidizing or reducing environments. Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and excellent resistance to localized corrosion compared to C-276 alloy. Hastelloy C2000 Sheet (UNS N06200) is made of unique among multi-purpose nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials with the intentional addition of copper. This greatly increases the resistance to sulfuric acid. UNS N06200 Plate also has a high chromium content for maximum resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with iron ions and dissolved oxygen.

Hastelloy C2000 Sheet is more versatile than traditional Ni-Cr-Mo alloys. This is achieved by using high chromium content, high molybdenum content and small but effective copper additions. Copper provides enhanced temperature capability in sulfuric, hydrofluoric, and dilute hydrochloric acid. In DIN 2.4675 Sheet, molybdenum provides excellent corrosion resistance, while chromium resists oxidation, making C2000 Alloy Plate suitable for extreme temperature ranges. Hastelloy C2000 gaskets are designated UNS N06200 and Werkstoff number 2.4675. The resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion of alloy C2000 plate is better than that of alloy C276 plate, and the resistance to H2SO4 is up to 65%.
